MRI of New Britain
Cage Data has a long standing relationship with MRI of New Britain going back almost ten years. Cage Data provides complete information technology support for MRI. Although it is located within a local hospital environment, MRI has an independent network and technical support for their specific organization. This allows MRI the flexibility and agility needed to meet their patient's needs.
MRI's unique needs were application security, application access, and data integration to technological resource within the hospital. Cage implemented a Citrix Application Server environment to allow for seamless and secured access to applications from any location. Users are presented with the same interface whether sitting at their desk within the hospital or working from a remote location. The security parameters of a Citrix environment allowed MRI to encrypt and secure patient data from any location.
MRI also needed consulting services to help them move forward with projects which allow their radiological data to be interfaced to the hospital network and systems. Cage's unique perspective and relationship with MRI has allowed to complete these projects on time and within budget for MRI.
